Commissioned by the Triennale Design Museum of Milan, ERA is a trophy – to assign to innovative companies that apply business models based on technologies 4.0. On a base of painted wood, two parts are reflected into each other: a chipped flint of white bronze is placed atop a circular copper surface of a perforated stencil for the production of circuit boards.
The sculpture alludes to the encounter between two technologies that are at the vertices of humanity's time span, paying tribute to the human ability to build the future through the skillful art of design.
