FUOCO chair was born from the collection of the remains of a cedar trunk burned in a natural fire in the forests of the Lombardy Alps, coordinates 46° 18' 50", 10° 15' 59".
The charred trunk section is manipulated by the designer carrying on the sculptural process initiated by the fire:
the natural event triggered by time and the artificial one triggered by man through the lost-wax bronze casting overlap, in a crasis that crystallizes the original fragile material into a solid mass.
